We will be at the halfway point in terms of distance tomorrow (today). Just plumbed in our final waypoint which is Oahu itself.

We are 1172 miles from the finish line, and the bearing for us from here is 245 degrees.

The journey to-date has been tough – power failure, 2 big weather fronts that went against us, and Simon was unable to row for 2 days due to a shoulder injury. He is back now, but only part time as we ease him back in. While Simon was out we rowed 2 hours on 1 hour off initially, but it was too much, so we swapped back to hour on, hour off.

We hope that the second half, with fair winds and waves behind us, we will be quicker.

We feel like we are now on our way home!
